Will Edwards get us Mbappe on a bosman for next year?

Also, it's never really free. Signing a "free" player means paying a massive signing on fee and increased wages. While tempting, it's not always the best choice, financially speaking.

Doubt he'd ever get to that point, but i guess it could happen.

However, getting Mbappe on a free = we're working on a limited budget and getting players on the cheap and we cannot compete against other teams

His wages would be gigantic for sure (he's not taking a discount to come here) but if he were to come here that means one of Mane and Salah have to go to make room for him, so the hit to our wages would be the increment vs. one of Mane/Salah.

Mbappe a Red? Can’t see it myself, definitely not this season, but never say never in football, as for this transfer window we already have Konate, if we can add Raphinha, Tielemans and Lamptey I’d be a very happy Red,
We had a sh*te season last season but still finished 3rd, now imagine us with a fully fit fully flying squad of players hungrier than we were in 2019/20, with added quality, there is no limit to what we can accomplish, I can see the Hendo shuffle getting a outing once or twice again next season, dunno about you guys but I get this recurring vision of the No’s 20 & 7, is that a sign ?

They can't force him to sign a new contract, maybe there is something in Real rumours? He may just see his contract out and move to real next summer, like Gini did with us.

Looking like it but Ive yet to see him play well in a England shirt. I've yet to be convinced he's the real deal.

True but they have the bedrock now up top but as you say the other positions need filling and with 80m going on Sancho will they be able to fill them spots with the cost that will come with it

What if we own Mbappe and allow him to move away for free? I would be very sure most if not all us would say we are dumb to allow for that to happen - the natural person to blame is deffo FSG. Therefore there is no way PSG would allow Mbappe to get away on a free. If any, the chance is very very small.

I understand what you and FL mean. The thing is that you cant force anyone to sign a new contract. Lets just say if Mbappe want Real and Real wants Mbappe. Then all they have to do is to wait out the contract, Mbappe could refuse to sign for another team. I personally dont blame FSG for Gini not signing a new contract. You can offer them the contract, but you cant force them to sign it. Thats my whole point.
