I know we have the main transfer window thread, but if the mods are ok with it, I thought it would be handy to have a thread dedicated to the comings and goings of all the interesting/crazy/expensive/good/bad transfer deals concerning the Premiership clubs this January. A bit of a free for all.

Also taking bets as to what time Ian Ayres clocks off as well.

According to the Telegraph we're after PSG's Kevin Gameiro on loan. Ince's move from Blackpool has stalled and we're looking to loan out Coates.

Can't see the sense in loaning out Coates, what if Agger/Skrtel get injured, we just stick Carra back in?

I agree , it seems daft , hope Bascombe has got that one wrong.

Not to mention wasting money where it's not needed the most.

I'm getting a bit jittery already this window as I can see the same old mistakes being made by FSG.

The Liverpool Daily Post are saying we may be open to selling Coates and bringing in a young French player ,
Nicholas Isimat- Marin.
Really don't see the point of getting rid of one young player to bring in another.

If that's true the cull on Dalglish/Comolli's signings would almost be complete. I've wondered why he's not got game time and it is beginning to seem quite sinister.

Personally believe Coates will be an awesome centre back in time and should already be getting first team time in rotation with Agger and Skrtel to keep the pressure on those lads too. All seems that touch fishy to me.

Agreed, FSG is a slightly better version of Hicky and Shortie.
