I really like his attitude and if thats the bad attitude we've heard so much about it'll do for me.

As expected, Sturridge has had an immediate impact in our team. Doesn't take a brilliant player to do that given how poor we are in certain areas, but I do like him the guy. Hopefully he'll develop a good partnership with Suarez.

But i'm glad he's playing for us, he's the kinda of player we need to get us to the next level.

Hunger, Something to prove and lots of enthusiasm.

Totally agree mate, was a massive impact the lad made. I can cope with someone missing, getting yourself into the areas is usually the hard part and his movement and interplay with Suarez was the only highlight of the game today. Very impressed I must say.

Very harsh. I don't think his misses were "woeful" at all. He could have done better but I was delighted to see him putting in the effort to get in the right positions to have a pop.

On another day he'd have got a hat trick there. I think this guy may be my favourite liverpool player in the near future.

His goal today was one that we would have missed before he arrived.

Looks like a great signing - showed a lot of promice yesterday...

I do worry about how he will linkup with Suarez, but I am sure that it will be a great partnership. With Borini back I am not sure if we need any more strikers at the club for now!

I beleive that Sturridge will end up with 10+ prem goals this season - but he has to start games!

 Looked a class act when he came on, and takes up positions which will guarantee he'll get chances. 12 million quid at his age? Looks like a very good piece of business if his attitude remains right. Like the "five" celebration yesterday too, good lad.

I like the look of Sturridge.  His movement, pace and attitude look right for our system.  Could turn out to be an excellent signing.  The three - Sturridge, Borini and Suarez - will be a nightmare to mark and track, as all three are constantly moving and very sharp.  If they develop an understanding and fluidity, we could see some big improvements over the next few months. 

Anyone else delighted that we finally have someone to follow up on shots, in case the keeper parries them out?

A promising start and nothing would delight me more than to be proven wrong, needs to look up though but promising link up with Luis, could go well like his partnership with Huntelaar at Ajax (with the odd lovers tiff thrown in)

He's only just got back from injury, he didn't have the fitness to last the full 90.
