      Read this on another forum, and it did make me laugh, 'I hear the kids at Alder Hey are visiting Daniel this Christmas'.

      Feel sorry for the lad, worked his socks off last year for Champions League football, and his teammates have quite frankly let him down over the 6 games.

      My heart goes out to Sturridge.
      Himself and Suarez carried us to the Champions League and then Sturridge never got a sniff of it.

      No doubt in my mind we would qualify if he'd been fit.

      I think he will be our RVP. World class when fit, but rarely stay fit. Hence big clubs hesitate to buy him and we spend our resources to nurse him, then after one season when he stays fit and score sh*t loads he will be off.

      Brendan saying that he'll be in contention after the festive period. Would be delighted if we could get him somewhere near full fitness for the semi finals against Chelsea.

      We need a first choice striker to lead the attack, hope we show some ambition in January or in the summer, unfortunately we can't rely on Daniel so have to assume him as a luxury.
