Send him home for the summer now. There's nothing to play for, we just want him fit for next season.

I took those quotes from Brendan a little differently. I took them as saying Sturridge is our top striker, but his injury issues mean we need another striker as good in the event of injury, not that he won't be a Liverpool player. And when he's not injured, we have two top strikers playing.

I'll rather sell him for around 30 mil in the summer, he's too injury prone, and the season alongside Suarez might have been his Everest.

Sell him back to the chavs for £50 million.

Seriously though he is a £30 million striker only when fit which is next to never.

Sell him? Really? Guarantee if he is smashing in the goals next season such a thing wont be said. Was only a few months ago people viewed him as our only hope.

FSG don't think we need another class striker, this season, next season or whenever.

Unfortunately mate if our owners are consistent they will sell him and acquire potential.

No one would fork out big money for him with his injury record.

Missing out 25 league games in one season won't really cut it anywhere.

That's a given, the concern is Studge's replacement.
Given the fact that thought process has automatically dismissed any notion of quality back-up for the player we again are left to consider a negative case scenario.

We defo need another Top Striker next season and a bit of luck for Daniel with the Injuries.

If we can keep this boy fit for at least 90% of a season we have a big chance at winning stuff.

Something tells me that if he is one of our top 2 strikers next season then we're going to struggle again. He could miss 26 league games this season, starting just 7 of the other 12 and last season he missed 9 league games through injury too. He also only played 2 Champions League games which explains part of the reason as to why we got knocked out.

Something tells me if quality back up is not in place [as it never has been] the team will be not improve on the also ran status of the last four seasons.
Anyone with the scantest footballing nous would acknowledge that fact.

Sell him? If he stays fit we only need one proven striker, we sell, we need 2.

If he stays fit, he's guaranteed to bang in the goals...I'd rather sell Borini, Lambert and Balo before Studge.

Madness to even entertain the idea of selling him. Guarantee you he'd still garner a big fee despite his injuries this season. He's still young, he's English, and he's really F***ing good.

Just go out and get a world class striker so that he's joint No. 1 with Sturridge. If Sturridge is injured, play a one-striker formation with said world class player. When Sturridge is fit, play a two-striker formation with two world class strikers.

feel sorry for him he was our 2nd best player last season and arguably the 2nd best player in the league now he's injured and probably came back injured people slate him or say sell him he's a dud.
yes he's injury prone but he was class last season even with an injury, so if we can get him assessed fully in the summer and get an honest answer if he will ever be fully fit then i think we need to give him that.

he's still our best player when fully fit as he scores goals lets all hope next season he's sorted.

Daniel is in the US to determine whether he needs surgery on an ongoing hip issue, he has played just twice since picking up the injury in the 2-1 loss to Man U on the 22nd March.
He will visit Dr Peter Asnis an orthopaedic surgeon based in Boston.
Dr Asnis has a history of working with the Boston Red Sox franchise.
