No, he shouldn't. He should be playing League games because it's not worth risking injury on shoddy fields in shoddy conditions in EL.

It'll depend on his fitness really. I imagine for him to get back some fitness and match rhythm it could be good for him to make some minutes in Europe, but I'd keep him away from Russian pitches for obvious reasons, so no Rubin Kazan.

Just hope he doesn't get injured a day or 2 before he is due o return like last season!

Certainly interested to see how we line up with a fully fit Sturridge. Our most prolific player in the squad, can't be warming the bench.

I hear Danny's testimonial will be against Chelsea. He will then settle into retirement.

A fit ,healthy and confident Daniel would get into any team because he has everything. He does seem fragile and his confidence needs building up I just hope we get his integration back into the team right we need him more than any other player in the squad. Come on Dan.

I have a feeling he'll make it through this season completely fit. Nothing to base it on, just a gut feeling. If he does we should see a massive turnaround in our scoring fortunes. Him and Benteke together will terrorize.

After more than hundred million pound spent, the club still left majority of the supporter desperately calling for the fragile Danny to be our savior, very sad really

Hopefully Danny could recover his brilliant of the 2013/2014 season and stay fit, I really hope.

How I hope Sturridge returns to the first team fully fit and firing. Not only do we miss him badly but football in general is deprived of a truly top class striker.
