Daniel is denying the claim saying he has never gambled on football.

He may not have, but provided info on certain parties are privy too, indirectly gambling..

Fingers crossed he hasn’t done anything because thry’ll Ban him and we’ll need to be in the market for another striker

Can’t believe he started how many times does he have to put in these sort of performance’s before the realisation that he is a impact player for the last 15 mins if chasing a goal.

His legs have literally fallen off.

      Yep he's shot mate.

Like WAHS said in the match thread I'd be happy enough if he never started another game for us.

One of his biggest fans as well but he's a shadow of the player we all loved during Brendan's time.

what on earth was going on with him last night was he on strike?. If he was in the shop window he will not have made a good impression on anyone at all he seemed as if he didn't want to be there. Its sad to think how good he was just a few short years ago.

Impact sub only from here on hopefully.
His lack of movement compared to when himself and Suarez were tearing it up is unreal.
      Pity really. He was lightning.

If the right offer came in and we can upgrade with a replacement I’d sell.

Yes and yes - sadly it looks like we decided there wasn’t a decent offer in summer so letting him run contract down.....

Can’t help but feel sorry for the guy,  injuries have just completely taken it out of him. Still see flashes of brilliance from him but they are fleeting. What a player this guy was for us in the 13/14 season and one of the best finishers I have ever seen at the club.

I guess Suarez could make any player look world-class. Pretty depressing performance from Daniel. Looked like his heart wasn't in it, so maybe there's something more in the background we don't know about.

Either way, a stop-start career here should be coming to an end soon.

I think he is still OK off the bench 15-20 mins for emergencies or to rest players.  No good to start games.

      No-one listens to me either.

I keep providing the stats that prove otherwise, but no-one likes that because it doesn't fit the narrative.

Play him regularly. He will score.

think he needs to be a sub not a starter.

The stats suggest otherwise use him sparingly and his goals per minute ratio goes up. So in short use him as a impact sub!

Just seemed to sulk next to Origi.

Is more of an impact sub, he should have known this before going out on loan last season in a huff. Although he did start against PSG at Anfield and scored our opening goal, mind.

A striker is a must in the summer.
