Finally, it took some time but a player to be excited about signing.  Well in.  Welcome Dan the Man.  I gotta feeling that he's gonna shine from day 1.

Think he will start sunday, we might have saurez on the bench and make an appearance  if we struggle.

He hasn't played a game since the 17th of November. I can't see him starting the game on Sunday or next week. I reckon he'll be a sub for both.

Yeah, I reckon he will get 15-20 mins. Given the fact Morgan is out and loan, Luis will probably start and be taken off for Sturridge, all being well.

Great for him to get a goal on his debut. Lacking some match fitness so it's hard to see him starting next week but a good start for Daniel.

Looked HUNGRY and that's a good sign. Could've been a bit better with his passing, but delighted he opened up his account.

Dream start for the lad, hopefully he will kick on and do the bizz on a regular basis.

Think he's desperate to impress anyone and everyone. Could be a cracking player here. Would of liked to see him and Suarez get a few minutes together though

He might of had a couple more, probably should of but his movement and pace looked outstanding in the middle and basically told Shelvey where to pass it. It's not a knock on Shelvey who overall had a decent game but Sturridge not being fit still scorched past the defenders like no other player in a red shirt could.

Thought some of his link up play was excellent others sloppy, the same with his dribbling but then that pitch was horrible for it, was no surprise when he could rely more on his pace that he had more joy. On the balance of all things and considering he's returning from injury I was very pleased with his debut.

Scored on his debut , has pace , links up well . I look forward to seeing him and Suarez together .

Nice to see him get off the mark early, I know it was a non-league side but you can only score what you are facing and hope he can continue to take a bit of the pressure off Suarez.

He was a bit inconsistent. But him, Suarez and Sterling are gonna cause mayhem after seeing some of what he can do, even if he's still coming back to fitness. Looking forward to our match against the manure. =]

Oh, did anybody else think he was taller?? I looked for his height in the internet and it said 1.88m. During the game he looked about Shelvey's height, maybe shorter.
