I said last season when he was linked with the LFC job that Martinez is much better than he's given credit for. He works with barely any funds with Wigan. If they go down (and I think they will), still won't change my opinion.

Mancini, on the other hand, is a farce. Calciocaos saved his career - that's the only reason he arrived in England as the "3 times Italian champions".

A better manager with the funds he's been given... it's scary to think what they could have done in this period Mancini's been there.

Very impressed with Wigan who were excellent. Good on em. City didn't really turn up. Not sure why Dave Whelan is so hated, he is a bit of big mouth but harmless enough.

It's the first time i've really watched young McManaman. What a cracking little prospect. Anyone know if he's a red or blue? He'd be an upgrade on Downing by the looks of that performance. Like the fact he was always looking to get at players and he's quite a feisty little bugger as well.

Amazing! Stand up Roberto Martinez and Wigan!! That is one of the greatest achievements in English football I have witnessed. Absolutely delighted for them. Both them and Swansea winning the domestic cups - a testament to both teams style of play.

Oh and as for Man City - what a F***ing disgrace they are to English football. All that money, all those spoilt brats of players and a deluded manager = one of the most laughable farces in English football history. Don't give a sh*t whether they won the league last year. That's the minimum you'd expect with the obscene amounts of money they get.

Wigan have fully deserved this. City have been utter sh*t and it's surely the end of Mancini.
