Happy with the overall performance, but thought we were very sloppy when we knew we'd wrapped it up. Perhaps that was more to do with Norwich flooding the defence though. Either way, our fluid passing hit a wall.

Don't agree withe commentators bigging Johnson up, for the most part I thought he was very wasteful

Nice to see Suarez being able to take his foot off the gas, intentionally or not.

Everyone stepped up, even Sterling looked fresh

Wisdom again looked solid, Agger looked more comfortable alongside Carra, who looked solid.

Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson linked well, worked hard, and there was end product for once.

Sturridge, right time right place, because that is what an out and out striker will do for you. 3 goals in his first 3 games, up there with Ray Kennedy

      All in all, happy

Easy to heap lots of praise today but again - lets do it against the teams above us.

Great to see us beat Norwich comprehensively but we've got to crack on and use this as a springboard.

Lots of positives from today and another clean sheet at home.

Well in redmen. The team were superb this afternoon from Jones through to the front men.

And the world looks bright again :D

MOTM is a tough one, but thought the captain just shaded Suarez, Sturridge, Johnson and Hendo.

Impressed by our new young swashbuckling centre half, hell have a big future in the game, young Carragher keep an eye on him  ;)

Glad to see Sturridge score again, best way to answer his critics and good to see some players rested. Good score but again, as others have said, let's start doing it to the sides above us.

Missed second half due to my first ever driving lesson, coming back to see we had won 5-0 almost makes crashing into that bus worthwhile.

I was watching online and my feed kept stalling before the 3rd goal (so I had to subject myself to the horrors of Garth Crooks on Final Score), so will be watching on Match of the Day tonight. That said, a great great performance. 40 goals this season, (7 or 8 I think short of last seasons total). The attacking line up is looking the most attractive in 4-5 years, Henderson is getting better and better under Rodgers and feels like a new player, and Sturridge is looking an absolute steal.

Sure enough, there will be more hiccups down the road, but here is massive evidence that Brendan Rodgers  project is a worthwhile and exciting one.

Well I said we needed to drastically improve our home form this year round, and by God we're heading in that direction! 8 goals in 2 games, not a bad start at all. Really good performance all round today, Steven Gerrard gets my MOM, bossed the midfield and lead from the front yet again. Another good performance from Sturridge aswell and I'm pleased he got on the scoresheet, really do think him and Luis can have a formiddable partnership in our push for 4th! Well done Reds!

Voted Sturridge MOTM.  His presence kept the Norwich center halves occupied and allowed Suarez to get on the ball and create.  His dummy was sublime and shows that the lad has great vision, and his finish was a real poachers goal.  So excited to see more of him and Suarez linking up over the coming weeks!!!

to be fair we have done well against the teams like Norwich its against the top 6 sides we have had difficulty.Norwich had the look of condemned men after the first goal but you can only beat what is put in front of you.
Next league game will be a better indication of our progress.

Pepe had a broken nose along with the thigh strain. Had to have an operation on it.

Haven't seen the match or the goals but nice to see and read lots of positives about the performance and the players and manager. Makes a refreshing change.

Great win and Sturridge and Suarez seem to already have an understanding. This can only improve as they play more games together.
Big well done to the team and Brendan. We just need to find the consistency now.

That was a joy to watch. Death by football it is. There was a point we had 90% possession in a 5 minute spell.

With Suarez and Sturridge, plus others like Gerrard, Downing, Sterling, defenders, etc, contributing to goals, I don't think offense will be an issue any longer. We've scored at least 1 goal in each of the the last 10 matches, I thought the commentator said. We need to work on our defense now, and start beating teams above us.

Hendo keeps looking more and more like a man , specially with all the angry spitting in his celebration  ;D. I'm really pleased for him and Downing!! Gave my man of the match to Gerrard. Looks like he's getting back to his best and his injury is behind him.

Like others pointed out, the only thing missing, not that I'm complaining, was Borini's goal!
