Actually, he was the only one trying to make something, his passing was ok and did have a few shots on goal, but let down by the some of the players around him. Too young to be able to carry the team on his own sometimes.

Coutinho popping up with another big goal in the FA Cup. He doesn't score much, but when he does, it's almost always a big goal, isn't it?

This season, he's had:

-Winner at Blackburn
-Winner vs City
-Winning goal at Southampton
-Winner at Bolton
-First equalizer vs Arsenal

The only one that doesn't quite fit is the QPR goal, but even then that was a go-ahead goal in a bizarre match.

I don't think he excels playing out wide. I said to my wife tonight...there was far too much of Allen, Lucas and Hendo with the ball at their feet and not near enough of Phillipe. Something Brendan needs to address in my opinion. Get the creator the ball!!!!!

Really improved in more ways than one lately, certainly player of the season for the Reds, to my mind.

He is slowly adding more goals to his game. This is the side of Cou I was worried he lacked and would hold him back from becoming truly world class. If he can hit 10 goals this season it will be the first time in his career he has hit double figures. That will be huge for Philippe and give him confidence that he can increase his goal tally season on season.

I would like to think this - he moved from Vasco to Inter where he was loaned out and mainly benched. He has now come here and is a regular player who is loved by the fans. Perhaps, he is a rare bread who actually want to play week in week out and become a legend at a club - not get paid as much as possible and sit on a bench...

You need to watch the special that LFCTV just did on him, he looked to me like he was settled and happy where he is.

orgasmic to watch if we dont get CL next season this little fella wont be hanging around us much longer and so he shouldnt way to good of a player to not be shoecasing it in the CL. lets hope for his and our sake we can get it this year or start strong next season and push on even higher than 4th. we have a good set of youthfull players mixed with some experiance add to it one or two older wiser expericanced players and we will be a solid team.
