Shooting machine yet again. I think it may have been 6, 7 or 8 shots from outside the match in not so much time on the pitch.

I understand he may be frustrated with the rest of the team but this is not good enough.

He's the natural successor to Iniesta.

      Is he really?

Red tinted glasses buddy, at 23 he should be showing more consistency by now.

Forgive me if I don't fully judge him playing in this side mate.

Was thinking tonight, Brendan stays and we suffer till Chrismtas, Phil could be gone in January. Get Klopp or Ancelotti in and maybe he'd stick around.

Fair enough I suppose as nobody is really shining under Brendan atm.

When he came out on to the pitch vs Nowrich something did not look right about the lad. His facial expressions and body language were not the usual Phil I thought to myself at the time he must feel regretful for the red card and missing out on the Mancs game so it was ok for him to show some anxiety. However that Nowrich performance and the one tonight along with the timeliness of the Neymar comment makes me think something is in motion here.

I hope I am just being too paranoid and reading in to it way too much.

He can go, don't make him bigger than he is, scored some golazos but he lacks consistency.

If you check his assists stats you'll see he doesnt excel in that department also.

I won't despair if he leaves for about 40 mil pounds ... No player is bigger than this club, we've seen better players leave.

Just fine him if he shoots from outside the box and doesn't score. Surely that fits in with our incentivised pay structure.

Coutinho's been bad for quite a long time. when he first came- wow yeah man, them through balls kid, they were delicious, then that exciting season where Suarez was on-one and Sturridge was sharp as F**k yeah, everyone shone, the whole team.
He's lost his touch plus he's became shot mad, trying to prove he can score more than he actually can.

Aye but while he's here he's got to at least try and show that his team isn't just to be walked into. Granted Lovren getting a run shattered any kind of leg for him to stand on with that

bulldust. he's been our ONLY good player in every single game until norwich and carlile where it looked like we are kind of playing like a team again. why are you pretending he's now "shot mad" and "trying to prove he can score", such negative negative ways to look at it. if we only had ONE good player, which we did, wouldn't you just expect him naturally to be trying to get the win, like he actually did at Stoke need I remind you? can't believe you can spin our best player trying to win a game so damn negatively. yeah sure he might have taken a couple shots where he should have passed in the Norwich game but have some bloody perspective mate, think of all the crap shots we had from passes that a player like Coutinho knew wouldn't eventuate to a good enough shot on target. he is a brilliant footballer that knows what's happening in a game and if he has the ability and the hunger to win it off his own boot when no one else can how on earth can you whine about that and twist it into a negative, has me stuffed.

I think that he feels to much pressure, why? Because if he doesn't score, who will? Nobody is expected to score regularly in this team and when Coutinho plays as playmeaker it seems that he wants to take the responsibility to score. He shoots too often IMO, he would neverdo that if he had players around him who he feels could score for the team. Again, sadly, it's BR fault here. Too much pressure on our best player.
I think that playing Ings and Benteke together could get the best out of Coutinho.
