Any sign of him back in training? I remember the city game was his targeted return?

Klopp has all but confirmed he won't be on the bench vs City and might be missing against Sunderland too.

Really unfortunate not to have him against City,he always seems to pull a rabbit out of the hat aginst them but let's hope Origi can do that as well.

Jürgen has told Barca to stick their £60m bid for Philippe where the sun don't shine, he does know however they will be back and will not back off in their bid to prise the player away from LFC.
The manager says no amount of money could persuade him to let Coutinho leave the club.

His heel is still painful, but he's training.
Klopp said it in the Southampton presser.

It might be, but he was referring to the big clubs and not specifically Barcelona..they just added Barca and 60m in the title for some shitty stir the pot journalism and a few clicks.

Barca are a big club and some of Coutinho's compatriots at that club have been adding sauce to the mix by dropping hints about him joining them, Barca do seem to be mounting a campaign before a move of any substance materialises.

One of only 2 positives to come out of today. Nice to have Phil back, think he may have had the wrong shooting boots on but hope he wears the right pair versus the Mancs.

Marked  improvement in the team when he comes on, shame the rest were not on the same wavelength.

Made a huge difference last night, the quality was there for all to see, like HScRed1 said, it's a shame the others weren't on his wavelength, we need him to bring a bit of magic to old toilet on Sunday and hope the others can keep up with him  :)
