What's wrong with Coutinho after the injury? Lost the confidence in his shooting?
That pass pass pass pass spaniard style when you can shoot is 100% bs.
He needs break the lines AND SHOOT.

Still can't fathom how he took Couts off and let Can stay on. Unfuckingbelievable.

Think Couts is still getting his match fitness mate didn't look himself.

Not really, watch the first hour again and you'll  see why...clearly lacking sharpness and stamina.

Maybe, but still we are chasing the game and to take off your best player and replace him with your second best player (IMHO) and leave Can on made me wonder. Couts only needs a minute to give us pure brilliance whereas I don't think Can has that in him.  Anyway it'done now. Let's hope Couts gets back into his groove ASAP.

I too mate. Klopp put Surridge (whose people know he could score but not the best to create chances for himself) in then why remove our best creative player

Maybe because if he's fading he has more chance of getting another injury.

He's still a fair bit away from full match fitness/sharpness, so to me it doesn't make sense to push him too hard.

      INTER'S COUTINHO REGRET

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio says selling Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool is one of his ā€œgreatest regretsā€.

Coutinho joined the Reds from Inter for just Ā£8.5m in 2013.

"It was a great regret for me to have to sell him - perhaps one of my greatest regrets in over 20 years at Inter," Ausilio told ESPN FC.

Nonsense mate, it was a spiffing deal :D.

Didn't really have any impact in the game against Chavski. And JĆ¼rgen was right to take him off.
It's taking a while to get the Cou top level touch and feel back.
Was so brilliant in the first half of the season, fantastic - hopefully he can get back closer to that v soon.

Worse player on the pitch today by a long distance.

Broke up more play than any Hull player.

Thread bare options off the bench but of course there are no players in the world for LFC to buy!

Gets away with a lot of stick as he scores the odd worldie, he is as inconsistent as the likes of Lallana, brilliant when they feel like it but when the going gets tough stink the place out.

But hey why worry when you have a Ā£150K a week salary.

Big time charlies. That's all they are.

To think some put Coutinho up there with the likes of Gerrard, Suarez, etc is an offence to Liverpool FC and its great tradition of fearless terrors up front. The day Coutinho and his little mate Firmino grow some balls and actually start performing against small physical teams will be the day when pigs start to fly.

I agree both he and Lallana duck out of so many challenges, its bloody embarrassing.

      Lightweight pussy, him and Firmino.

Nice feet but not a winner and can't put in the graft against physical sides. Not what this club needs.

Really poor first half vs Leicester, passing was off, was getting brushed off the ball to easily, tho improved in 2nd half and got a goal.

Hasn't look the same since he got the ankle injury. Or the 200grand a week. Was SO good before xmas, just hope he can get back there.

What is going on with Phil just now? I think he's been absolutely shocking since coming back from injury. Constant mis-controls and wrong options taken. If we had a serious alternative to him I'd bench him you can't be taking 10-15 games to find form. Maybe Ojo to give us a bit of width on the left and find a way of tucking Phil inside a bit...
