Joined in with his shithouse mate running the length of the OT pitch to taunt Liverpool fans at the end of the 99 FA Cup tie.

      He's still a c**t, make no mistake.

      I remember that now, f**king c**t!

If anybody wants to watch Coutinho, he is starting for Brazil against England.

If I want to watch Coutinho all I should have to do is turn on our game. However, he doesn't play in many of those. Yet he always finds the strength to play for Brazil? He should be proud to play for us, and that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Get Barca to show us the money than shag ass.

Likely won't have too many more games watching him in a red shirt ... so make them count please Phil.

That's the question: Should we let him leave in summer? (no way in January!) He has contract till 2022 which looks like eternity and he just hits his prime time. We could make a powerful statement with his case that this club is not a selling one, but a club that wants England and Europe back. I'd walk down this road, except maybe if a trade occurs that gives us another top player that fits our need and wants actually come to us. For instance I'd trade Coutinho for Mbappe from PSG or Sané from MC, if the latter would like to come to us.

Not the player to have in midfield in a tough CL away leg esp when by his own admission he says his best position is as a wide forward.

Still doing well with the ball, though not matching his peek (in saying that his peek is a very high standard)
Not working as hard without the ball though imho.
Know Jürgen has said he's going nowhere in Jan, but remains to be seen.

      Was thinking about this.

Agree with you (and others) that in away games (and some tough home games for that matter) he probably isn't suited to our midfield but then to be honest I'd rather have Mane at left wing than Coutinho.

Does that mean Coutinho struggles to get into our first XI apart from against the bus parkers?

Our record this season in games Phil hasn’t started is outstanding. Not saying we don’t need him but 2 or 3 more important players in the squad for me

Could you imagine a silent deal between Coutinho and Barcelona to "take it easy" till January so that LFC is more willing to give away Phil for less money? Because Coutinho is no force anymore, we play better without him:o

Again, I would let him go in a trade for Suarez!

Liverpool would sell its crack in January for 145 million euros and the Catalan club already knows

Really good today. Way too much class for Brighton.
Even though he must still be angling for the exit, can still be practically our best player (though Bob was great today also).

Will miss play like the lovely close skill in the lead up to the free kick, which he then took, and passed under the wall, keeper didn't move - boys own stuff.

Messi wants Barca to drop Coutinho

18:05: Barcelona star Lionel Messi wants the club to sign a defender instead of Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.

Barcelona are expected to launch an assault on Liverpool star Coutinho when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

However, Spanish website Diario Gol claim Messi has blocked a deal for Coutinho.

And that is because the 30-year-old feels Barcelona would be better-suited spending their money on a defender in the wake of Samuel Umtiti’s injury.

Though Barcelona have Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano and Thomas Vermaelen on their books, Messi wants more.

And Barcelona could now try and sign Ajax prodigy Matthijs de Ligt.

Enjoyed watching, his free kick against Brighton, on MotD. He seemingly had all the defence fooled, with his low shot at goal.

Matthijs de Ligt. mmm Maybe Kuyt could put in a word for us... If Bacra's looking at him maybe we should be...
