Part of a longer article with Sports Illustrated - asked about LFC.

“Liverpool is flying, and it doesn’t surprise me. We’ve seen it already last year when it won the Champions League, but I’m also not surprised because of their fantastic squad and manager,” he said.

“I am so happy for them, because I have so many friends there, former teammates–so I’m just so happy for them–but that’s all.

I don’t look back. I took another path, and now I am on another journey, much like everyone else. I’m focused entirely–just like them–on reaching my dreams. I’m happy with what I did in the past, and now I can only look forward.”

I'm in the minority I know but I would have him back, that said I'll be completely amazed if we did sign him.
The only feasible way I could ever see him turning out for us again would be on loan with us paying half of his wages. No way should we pay over the odds they may command £60m off Chelsea or Man Utd but not us and his wages are the big stumbling block we won't match them nor should we.
I can see him ending up back at Inter or maybe PSG

Didn’t wish him any ill when he left us & I don’t wish him any ill now,the money we got for him payed for two massive  players that have improved our team immeasurably.
The lad got his dream move and the club & us fans got our dream......heading towards winning number 19.

OK, it seems you still old a grudge against him. I understand, but I can hardly name better midfielders than Coutinho when he left us, this right foot is magic.

Why would we have a grudge, when selling Coutinho brought us VVD and Alisson?

That right foot wasn't that magic at Anfield last May was it?

Well, Lallana's treatment table & Physio will be freed up, so he may fit in.

Especially with that bad back that conveniently caused him so many problems during the summer transfer window and as the winter one was going to start.

It's not the fact he left us, it's how he did it.

He shat on the club, the fans, the manager.

      F**k him.

If we need another player, we can get much better for what he would cost us.

Read there he's lost the no.7 shirt at Barca to Griezmann, still not turned the corner yet there even though looks like he'll get a chance this season

he's too good not to be playing, I do feel a bit sorry for him actually, another one dazzled by the bright lights of Barca, I bet he regrets leaving us.

Nothing to do with being dazzled and more about expecting a player that they weren't signing.
Expecting him to replace Neymar was a mistake.
Playing him in Neymar's position was a mistake.
Playing him as a 10 or AM would have got the best out of him.
