Nice lineup despite the existence of Stewart Downing.

Hopefully Suarez and Sturridge will be able to exploit the space in their defense and continue to link well together.

Interesting to see Skrtel dropped to the bench, shows the boss is at least trying to address our defenders' poor form of late.

Mertesacker is slow as a turtle though. Sturridge running shoulder to shoulder with him can be interesting if we provide our number 15 with useful passes.

Listen Diego it's pretty clear you don't like either but to me it's poor form to get a dig in before a ball is even kicked in the game.

On Downing's form we will have to agree to differ as I think he has played well of late and his inclusion tonight reflects this.

They have a midfield that can be beaten if you ask me. I think Hendo will man-mark Cazorla for the match and Gerrard should see space to make plays.

Mertesacker isn't fast enough to mark Suarez in space and they have no DM.

Think Luis could be massive

Very pleased with that starting line-up and great to see Pepe back in goal. 

Expose Mertesackers pace, he's slower than Sami Hyypia...and shi**er. We'll score more than them if Suarez and Sturridge get at that c**t

I'm ready to change my mind about Hendo if he continues his good form but I've rarely been impressed with Downing, in all honesty I've lost any patience.

Talking about Henderson, by the way, I think today's game is a very good test for him. I'm not convinced he gives us enough quality on the ball to play in that key attacking midfielder role, but it's true he is improving and if he continues to get better, we might have found an answer within our own squad. Interesting to see if he can give us as good a performance against Arsenal as he gave us against the likes of Norwich.

Anyway, come on Liverpool FC, which is what matters. If Downing scores a hat-trick and reveals a shirt saying "suck my balls, Diego", I won't complain!
