Underrated Players You Rate

Scott Brown at Celtic.
Just watched him put in a proper captain's display for Scotland against Georgia. Was brilliant.
In fact watching Scotland was fantastic...proper team performance. England could do well to watch and learn from them.

Brown has been a good player since his Hibernian days, I always thought he would one day play in the EPL (especially in those past few years in which SPL's level has been so low) but he's stayed with Celtic far beyond my expectations.

From the little I've seen of Jordan Rhodes, I also think he's pretty good striker.

Nathaniel Clyne

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but, Sami Hyypia.

Every non LFC fan I spoke to considers him to be good, that's about it. For me, Hyypia was world class and the best central defender we had since PL started.

They don't make them like him anymore do they? I've seen quite a lot of Scott Brown over the last 5/6 years and I don't think I've ever seen him hide or shirk responsibility in a match. Battler in the heart of midfield and he even did a job for Neil Lennon on the right flank for a short while and I don't think he ever complained about being played out of position (ahem Mr Sahin). I genuinely think if we put this lad's heart in Joe Allen or Jordan Henderson's body we'd have one hell of a player on our hands and we'd actually have someone worthy of taking the armband after Stevie leaves. There are too many shrinking violets around and in my opinion the world of football needs players like Scott Brown.

And to go with my "underrated player that I rate" I think that Abeid lad at Newcastle has done an excellent job anchoring their midfield and surely it can't be a coincidence that they started picking up form when he started playing regularly.

Never met any Red that thought Sami was anything but a legend, Other people didn't see him as much as we did though,  but the media were probably too busy licking Steve Bruce and Gary Pallister's backside's to give him the credit he deserved.

Been England's best rb for a few years now

Rated a fair bit now but Jedinak is a brilliant player, has so much to his game.

Jonny Williams, another player for Crystal Palace, fantastic talent, far from the finished article but he's been impressive on occasions when he's played for Wales, should be playing for Palace IMO.

Ledley is really underrated, splits up play and can score a cracker too.

Peter Whittingham in the Championship on top form is a great player to watch.

I rate Pieters at Stoke as well.

Nat Clyne took one season in the top flight to be better than any other English right back. Outstanding player.

An acquaintance who supports albion is always talking him up, to the extent that I really want to watch him and see if it's justified.
