Out for 3-4 months with Glandular Fever. Poor lad has no immune system!

I was reading about him having the flu which was why he never played in the Europa League game last night for Stuttgart but Mono illness is pretty serious though 3-4 months seems to be extreme. I know ice hockey players (particular younger ones) tend to suffer from it and would only be out for month maybe 2 month tops if it was serious case but then again Degen was never one for fitness so who knows.

You do have to feel sorry for him, the guy never seem to catch a break in his football career with injury and now illness.

Will probably see this lad leave in the summer.
