Bringing Allen back for this is going to be tough for him, definitely think Lucas was a must to start and surprised to see him left out of the XI. Would of been a toss up between Sterling or Borini for Sturridge's place, I would of personally gone with Borini because his work ethic is slightly better and I would of personally shielded Raheem from the abuse he could suffer. (I know that shouldn't be an issue but we all know it is.)

I've gone for 1-0 wins in both ties for us, think its gonna be a real tight game hopefully Skrtel will be more than up for it against his old club and hopefully keep Hulk calm and not be too 'green' against him !

Really hope we see more of the early season Allen rather than the tail off. The lad knows he's underperformed lately, so I hope he takes his chance in returning to the side tonight. Skrtel even more so, we need a centre half on form to partner Carra at the mo.

I like the team. Agger is long overdue being dropped, and Lucas would be far too slow against these. This is a really tough match though, so if we don't win 6-0 hopefully people will remain philosophical.
