Our set piece defending is really pissing me off.

Agger just looks so poor against set pieces lately... chasing shadows instead of owning the ball!

Battered them but this is by no means comfortable, we have had chance after chance but only lead because of a penalty. Need to stay focused because 1-0 is a dangerous scoreline, especially for us this season.

Good half, game should be over but it isn't. No surprise there really.

Hope we actually defend properly for a change and hold on.

For those watchin a clear telecast, how do you rate Coutinho till now ?

Brendan can be very proud of the lads for that showing, should be going in 3up at least. One of the best halves in an attacking sense we've played all season. F**k all the talk of a weakened Swansea team we've absolutely battered them all over the place!

Defending though still looks a bit dodgy and while it's only 1-0 you have to remain a touch nervous of a sucker punch. Coutinho / Suarez / Sturridge 3 looks so fluid it would be a nightmare to pick those lads up and the people benefitting most is Stevie and Lucas who have had loads of space on the edge of their box for shots all over the place. Great football and if we play like that in the second half it will finish 3 or 4 to us at least. The kind of response I was hoping for after a few poor performances, nice to be able to be so positive.

The system is not at fault for allowing Agger to constantly make mistakes. The system isn't at fault for Reina going walkabout at Man City. This is not the system. This is our players losing concentration.

Very good half though. And I have to say - I think Stewart Downing has been fantastic. Did so well with his strength to win the ball where we got a corner, which then led to the penalty. Also he's got up down the attacking flank very quickly and has more often than not been available for the pass. Well done Stewart. Keep it up!
