      First Trip to Anfield
      Feb 19, 2013 06:40:06 pm
My brother and I are making our first trip to Anfield on March 10th (we hope to find tickets to the LFC-Spurs game), but first we wanted to know if there is anything that Liverpool fans do at the Hillsborough memorial outside the ground?

We are American supporters and want to pay our respects to the 96.

      Thank you for any help.

      Yours,
      Ben

You'll be lucky to get tickets for that game I'm imagining to be honest mate. Hope you manage to get some though.

Thanks for the comments. Just being around the stadium and even watching from somewhere near by would be a cool experience.

Of course it would be a great experience mate but when you travel all that way, you wanna make sure you get inside.

If you can't get tickets, try and get the tour: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/history/tour-and-museum
Maybe one of the local supporters could give you directions to Melwood as well, or even take you there, and don't forget this: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/corporate/boot-room-sports-cafe

The Hillsborough Memorial is to me personal to each individual in how they pay their respects, but I see many people saying a short prayer.
