Brilliant film mate, still got the tape but sadly no player to play it on.

Watched it before every European game back in the season when we got ole big ears back in Istanbul.

Thanks for posting, not seen that in years.

Briliant memories but also sadness when you see what the modern Kop has become.

Its up to us, the genuine Kopites to try and bring back the old values before they are lost forever.

Wow, I enjoyed that, like Kelv, I haven't seen that for some time, brought back some wonderful memories especially right at the very beginning, walking up the steps to the top of the KOP.

Tears of sadness too as well as joy....everyone should watch this.

Ye get ye education from the kop !!

      I'll second that sentiment.

Those pictures give a true indication of what life was like in the old KOP,I feel sorry for the younger generation who will never experience the thrill of the Kop crowd in full voice when the mighty REDS were attacking the KOP.They took the heart out of the KOP and Anfield when they put the lousy seats in.

Seen that before but Jesus H Christ is it good or what??
My most vivid memory as the camera covered the steps was the adrenaline rush that wound up with every click of the turnstile, every one of those steps and the ultimate buzz as you surveyed the kop and the hallowed pitch.
As privileged as everybody else to have been a part of that institution.

Always looked boss when there was a flare on the kop, like right at the start of this vid.

There is not another club in the world that could emulate the KOP as it was for a big match,if only the KOP could talk it would tell us of so many memories of fantastic players in our LIVERPOOL RED who excited us over the years. We would go to Anfield expecting a win and we usually got a win and the wit, humour, passion and atmosphere was thrown in for free.
