There's very little point to substitutions when you're winning 4-0. Substitutions should really only be used AND QUESTIONED when you're still fighting for the game. At 4-0 it's a completely trivial and at most pointless tool.

i wouldnt call it pointless. Spuds are our next game, lucas and allen both were on yellow. Id say when you are winning 4-0 then its the perfect time to give 20 mins to players who are not in form or youngsters.
That said, im happy with our perfomance. just arguing for the sake of arguing

Fantastic win, what can you say about Luis Suarez, if they even talk about selling him I'll chain myself to the gates at Anfield, just love him.
Coutinho is going to be one hell of a player, just wanted him to get a goal, he deserved it!
Big kudos to Pepe and Stewart, thought they both did well.

Can't pick one myself as they all made a massive contribution to the final score in a game that could have been very tricky IMHO.

Luis was deadly today, great to see him notch up another hat trick!

Great result, and great performance..........in parts. Yeah I know 4 - 0, and Coutinho looked the biz, and will get better as he gets more playing time. Suarez an obvious choice for motm but if it wasn't for Pepe doing his job, it could well easily have been 3 - 3 at half time.  Gave them too much room in second half, but decent result all the same, although I'm not getting carried away. Spurs the big test next week, but lets soak up the delights of a victory first. 3 vital points on our way to 4th...HmmHmm

Usually I can pick someone on the poll in a few seconds... but I honestly don't know right now.

Reina's been off-form for a while, so it's brilliant to see him back to his (near-)best.

Coutinho's adaptation to the league and our system especially is absolutely phenomenal, as proven by his assists.

Suarez is just being his regular, goal-scoring, running-out-of-adjectives self.

I agree, I think we should make use of substitutions when we're in such a superior winning position. Give the youngsters a run-out, get them some game time. Give Gerrard a rest maybe. But at the same time I understand Brendan's thoughts, why change a winning formula? Other than that, it was a fantastic performance, really happy with the players today. 12 goals in our last 3 games, not half f***in bad!

Great result today, as for the MotM I'll go for Suarez, just for the hat-trick. Nice one you Red Men.

Coutinho gets my MOTM. I thought he was outstanding today, but not to take anything away from Pepe and Luis who both had a fine game.

Im so undecided with MOTM - a nice predicament.
Pepes best game of the season, great to keep a clean sheet and pull out some big saves.
Suarez goes top scorer in the league.
Coutinho with 3 games under his belt, a goal and 2 assists.

Hope spuds drop points tomorrow, leaves us 3 games behind them and the gooners, which will be down to 2 by this time next week.

I voted Pepe. They had some very good efforts at goal and Pepe was immense in keeping them all out.
Its not often i would vote a golly Motm for keeping a clean sheet when a striker has a hat-trick. However the quality of the saves alongside that fabulous counter attack he set up was enough in my mind. And also Downing is beginning to become more consistent and that is very encouraging.
