Job done at the weekend. Now we have a much sterner task at Anfield next weekend.

In some ways, hoping they get a decent result vs Inter during the week, with Bale taking a slight knock so he is rested next Sunday

Super win at the place that hasn't brought us much joy in years gone by.

Wigan were sh*te yes but thats down to us never letting them get in the game. Downing's header plunged the knife in deep and our second was the fatal twist. That type of penetration has been evident for the last two seasons but the major diffefence is how clinical we are being with it now against these sides that we have struggled to dominate in seasons gone by, including this one.

Coutinho looks a lovely little player and might be just what the doctor ordered for us. Suarez keeps going from strength to strength, Lucas is edging closer and closer to the player he was before his injury troubles with every passing game and Reina has another clean sheet. And Downing - almost as if its unfashionable or taboo to give him any praise. True, he'll never be a £20 million player but he's an ever present at the moment and putting in shifts and is as deserving of praise now as he was the pelters we have all given him throughout his time here. Impressed with his distribution, positioning and covering.

Two wins on the bounce now and its great to see us sticking the ball in the net and not conceding but if i'm honest, whilst its great to see us kicking arse like we have against Swansea and Wigan, and I really do love it when we do, I'm intrigued and interested to see how we go into the Spurs game at Anfield next week on the back of these results. I don't want us changing our approach and showing them allsorts of respect - lets take it to them exactly how we have Swansea and and Wigan. Its Anfield, lets go at them and play our game - a win against them would carry the run on and be the catylist for us then going on to destroy Southampton and Villa.

Want to see that the gaffer has learned from other, previous little runs we've had stopped short by sides above us by going hell for leather.

      Lets keep it going.

      Completely agree with that.

Especially the Spurs game. Lets F**k them up.

Great result Pepe Reina showing his quality best match iv seen him play in 3/4 years no exaggeration. Coutinho showing signs that he could be the quality we are missing between midfield and attack with great balls in behind the defense and Suarez just world class as usual.

Great win for the Reds at Wigan, great all round display by the lads, another hat-trick for Luis, with Pepe back to his best. I hope that the goals keep on flowing, a decent run of wins needed to push further up the table.

It's so nice to see us get early goals in games like this. We've done it a bit now against the teams we should beat, and that's such an underrated aspect of our season so far. Getting early goals against your Wigans, Norwiches, QPRs etc. It's massive to me. The longer you let these teams hang around, the more confidence you give them. Nice to see us kill them off early.
