Very interesting line-up. Has a 4-4-2 look about it although I'm sure it won't be.

      Oh so no Reina.

      Good that Lennon is out.

So Reina back on form and then immediately injured.

      Great attacking threat though.

Lucas will cover Bale, so I'm not going to afford him much worry this afternoon.

My main worry is actually Defoe. Agger has been known to give his man a bit too much space, and that's what Defoe lives on.

That would worry me to be honest, Lucas isn't the quickest and his turning speed is shot since the injury. It will be interesting to see where each of Bale, Dembele and Sigursdon play tho, all would prefer the centre, so at least 1 will be out of position.

      Sick that Reina isn't fit.

Well I dont fancy our chances as much with Jones in goal! Pepe would have been going into this game on the back of a great performance. Hopefully Jones wont perform like he did against Oldham or we're screwed!

Over the past few days I have been confident that we could keep a clean sheet and win the game, now I am definitely not so confident with Reina not playing and Jones playing instead.

If AVB was smart, he would play Sigardson LM, Dembele AM, Bale RM. If he was to accommodate them according to get the best of the team. But he may insist on playing Bale in the centre.

This should be a cracker! Shame out Reina but perfect squad otherwise! Lucas will play a major part in this one! Watch his space and hope Bale doesnt drift too far from him!

Suarez Sturridge, Coutinho and Downing have the quality to butcher any defense so lets hope they do so!

Funny to think that Bale started out as a failure of a left-back.

      Hmmm.

After playing a record 24 Premier League games for Spurs without being on the winning side, Bale's first ever involvement in a Premier League victory came against Burnley on 26 September 2009 – more than two years after signing for Spurs – when he came on as an 85th minute substitute.

Pepe being out is a huge miss. I'm a little hesitant, because that looks like Suarez will be playing AM. Kind of think we needed 3 midfielders for this one.

I havent been recently confident with our ability to keep a clean shee against proper opposition. Now withour Jose, im even more worried. Hope our defence does its job, because our attack is on good form, and will probably get at least one in

Enrique isn't a failure of a left back.....

He's been a hell of a lot better lately for sure, but the second half of last season he was dreadful, and that carried over into the first part of this season, when Rodgers pushed him up into midfield.  He really did well there.  Maybe that's where his future is, I don't know.

But I love the Enrique-Coutinho left flank combo, so I hope he keeps doing well at LB.

Spud's fullbacks and Livermore are both poor/average defensively. We should cause them problems.

I think whoever controls the midfield will win. I also think that will be us.

We'll do as Ray Wilkins suggests, "We'll F***ing get to him".

I think Sturridge can get to Tottenham with their high line. Should find space in behind.

Watching the Milwall Blackburn game while I wait for our game to start, Keogh dived and the commentator goes 'taking some Suarez lessons?' C**t.
