Skip I toyally agree with you regarding Gerry Byrne but must disagree with you about my hero the late great Billy Liddell,without a doubt he would be first on my list.I often think if he had played with players of similar ability from say 1952/3 on  we would never have been in the old second division.Loyalty,skill,dedication Billy Liddell had the lot,if Alan A'Court was still around I am sure he would vouch for that,cheers.
