Went draw on the vote. Didn't expect us to be that sh*te.

Puts things into perspective really. Still so, so far off the minimum I expect us to be as a club.

We were outplayed in every single position on the pitch today. It's really that simple. You can carry one or two bad performers. You can't carry 11 of them.

Completely overrun by Southampton, holes everywhere in our midfield and defence. Danny seems to lack confidence right now, Coutinho was a bit lost initially, scored a goal, then got tired by the end of the game. Glen was booed off the game, Skrtel needs to be replaced permanently, Allen was having an off day. In short, fairly beaten.

BR would call Xavi 'the Spanish Allen' .Same class as Downing, Aquilani etc.

Skrtel - could he have done more to prevent Southampton's first goal? His tracking back was awful as well.

Skrtel has played so badly today some of me questions if it's intentional.

Exactly my thought's focking cock blatantly look's like he couldn't give a fock to prove a point to Rodgers.  his last game im sure unless carra gets injured.

No particular reason. We have seen that a lot of times this season. Really feel for Hendo. He worked his arse off and put in some good performances and dropped for a championship standard player.

Should never play 2 in the middle again. Especially not when one of the two needs surgery.

In fairness Didi was absolutely different class to Lucas, no comparison.

Well then what is your point about needing pace in there? Surely you mean we need a good player in there? Talking sh*t Mick.

Busquets, Khadira, Schweinstieger. The 3 best holding mids about today IMO. No pace between them.

That kind of performance and result raises an awful lot of questions about the 'group'.

Brendan needs to stop making stupid mistakes like playing Allen and having to sub him off over and over again. It's doing nothing for his confidence and nothing for our performances, he can't be looking great in training if that's the kind of tripe he serves up on the pitch.

Johnson badly needs a rest and we don't have adequate cover, Wisdom as much as he's shown promise isn't quite ready for it yet, although we could be forced into playing him if Glen continues like this.

Skrtel, I'd go as far as to say that was the single worst performance of any of our defenders this season, it was diabolical. Carra's injury really cost us badly there today.

Sturridge, doesn't look the same since the injury, hope it's just because he looked awesome beforehand and I'm willing to think more along those lines than worry too much after only 2 poor shows. Downing, Enrique, Gerrard and Lucas when he came on all played reasonably, not good but reasonably. Jones again looked all at sea despite a decent save you were still worried every time he was involved. Agger didn't do much wrong but also we let 3 goals in at the back so you'd have to question could he have done more, I'm not sure until I see the goals again, on first reflection it didn't look like he had anything to do with any of them and that in itself could be a worry.

Coutinho played pretty good I thought despite probably mucking up our best chances, I love his decision making and although he could of played in Gerrard twice and could of scored when through just before his goal the signs are all positive with the lad. Making the pass or scoring the goal is the easier part, holding on to the ball until the right pass is there or making the right run is the harder part and I'm extremely encouraged by his play, also liked that he got stuck in a bit when we were losing too. Obviously needs to bulk up a bit, but at 20 years old I think we've got a proper gem there.

Credit to Brendan for bringing Allen off, but he created the problem, overall bad day for everyone and although I said we could afford to possibly lose one and still get 4th (lunatic eh?), I think we all know that's a complete pie in the sky idea and finishing above the blueshite is what our season has been reduced to and that should always raise questions about everyone at the club.

      Outplayed by Southampton, painful truth.

Again, while we're making jokes, Kenny drilled a hole into the showers at Melwood so he could spy on Downing and Henderson

Yeah that's the big question mark to me. Carragher being out killed us as well.

Martin Skrtel wondered why Carra replaced him. Today is exactly why.
