Bill Kenwright was excellent, as has Everton throughout the whole thing.

I kind of felt this service was a bit lighter than in previous years. Not that it was light-hearted -- it probably never will be -- but that there was a greater sense of relief know that the truth is officially out. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Was good to hear both Kenwright and Phil Scraton alongside Margaret Aspinall.

Also good to see Anne Williams there.  The real Iron Lady.

Just watched Kenwright's speech, beautiful words, if anything it goes on to show the greatness of Everton FC. As an outsider I really appreciate the togetherness shown by the city as a whole.

Echo everyone's thoughts about Bill Kenwrights speech. Was really moving.

Was tough going in there today but when you're in the Kop, you'll never walk alone. Great to see a good few blues and other fans there today.

As always it was a touching service today at Anfield. However today felt happier (if that's the right word) than previous years.

I've never found a good word to say about the fella before today, but Bill Kenwright I can only thank you for your words today. And the Merseyside chant was just as moving. I was actually with a blue today, first time I've experienced the service with an Evertonian, and they were just as emotional as me.

Just watched the service and can only echo the words on here about how well Bill Kenwright spoke. Also Phil Scraton who has worked so hard on the quest for the truth to be heard.

As always an emotional occasion and the first time my wife has watched the whole service and is really understanding why the search for truth and justice is so important.

I listened to it this morning while I was at work. I told my coworkers that I was busy for the hour so I could listen without being interrupted. The only thing is I had to continue to do my work, but I was glad I was at least able to listen.

I echo everyone's posts about Bill Kenwright's speech.

Was at the Service yesterday and agree with others that it was less sombre than previous years.  The mood was still emotional but more "relaxed" than usual.

Bill's speech was excellent and the exchanges he had with Margaret showed it came from the heart.  Phil too, when he spoke, was powerful and emotional.  Wouldn't expect anything else from him though.  I thought the occasion got to John Henry, which was surprising but good to see both him and Tom at the Service.

I really wanted that to be Kenny up there addressing the families the way Kenwright did.
Henry, as an outsider, looked out of place. Fair play to him for getting up and saying a few words,
but he's not the representative I would have liked to see up there given the significance of the last year.

I agree mate, he did look and appear out of place somehow.

Think they might be saving Kenny for next year  ;)

Watched the Service last night - moving as always and some touching words from Bill Kenwright.

Was at the Hillsborough Service myself, great effort from everyone involved in that one.
