Aston Villa 1-2 Liverpool: In-game & post-match appeasement

Didn't watch the game but felt relieved, surprised and ultimately glad after finding out we won. Must have shown the character that Brendan had preached and us the supporters had wanted before the match. We had won ugly i heard but to me it means we are cultivating a nature of getting both stylish and ugly wins. Maybe a prelude to a title challenge next season? Brendan wants the league you know.

Caught the highlights (if you call them that on BBC 1 - only 1 game and they give us what 10 minutes - bluddy BBC). Great save by Gerrard. Scoutinho is definitely getting better and good to watch.

Why was Sturridge not playing? Is he injured?

Delighted with this win. Most pleasing thing for me was Gerrards performance. He is still our most influential player IMO.

Good to see the side fightback to win the game after going a goal down, mystery why Sturridge was not playing. Let's hope  for another win against West Ham on Sunday and another 3 points.
