No need to sell him, punishment yes but getting rid would be stupid.

As someone pointed out earlier the scum kept Cantona after a much worse incident.

Don't give a sh*t what the scum did or do.
We should never use their actions as a guide.
What Suarez did is unbelievably disrespectful of our mighty club.
He is now a burden and a huge embarrassment.

No matter what a Liverpool player did or does, I could never be so dismissive with a remark like 'Animal'. It shows a complete lack of understanding and genuine affection for the player and probably a club

Sell him perhaps, but to just come out, point the finger, along with the alleged evidence, and just brandish him as 'Animal', well, there's just something very very wrong about that.

      What are you on about???!!!!

It's clear as the light of day, he looks like an animal hunting a predator.

It's the perfect word for his actions. ANIMAL!

Don't want him sold, just don't want him doing things to hurt the club. He needs to understand his importance to what we are trying to accomplish.

I would just love it if Ivanovic comes out and says 'What are you on about? Suarez never bit me - he was just frustrated and was screaming into my arm'.

      Lesson to be learned maybe

Luis was banned for biting before we bought him.

We still did buy him so none of should be surprised something like this has come up again.

May I direct all 'biting' comments here http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php/topic,44682.0.html so the football can be discussed here. ;D

You can say that now, but if we lost it because we didn't have our best player for the last 3 or 4 games I doubt you'd be willing to say "Well at least we were fighting for it".

Let's not speculate. The FACT is that we'd be fighting relegation without LUIS SUAREZ.

Don't believe it, missed all the fun, my PC crashed 30mins from the end, missed the first half as well, and to think we could and should have gone on and won that. Have to see it on mots now.

We're not using what scum did as a guide, the point is that this will blow over in time so the club need to put Luis in self imposed suspension and let this story blow itself out. Whether you like it or not Liverpool Football club is not an attractive destination for a player of Luis' calibre no matter how much money we offer as a transfer fee. Without European Football, let alone Champion's League football, no player of his talent will even consider us so getting rid of him right now is unfortunately not something we can afford as a club.

I've seen many clubs keeping (and even supporting) players who willingly do far far more dangerous faults, threatening the whole carreer of other footballers.
Biting is bad, and desserve some games of suspension for willingly disturbing the game and tarnishing club image, but nothing more.

Out of interest, was it just me or was Lucas anonymous for the match? Not a criticism here, just wondering if anyone else noticed it or is the lack of sleep getting to me?

I'd rather have a crazy character like Suarez and be at least challenging for the top places in the league and cups than having no Suarez and becoming more of a mid table team.
