      Well in Rafa!!! Love him!!!

      "haven't seen the incident"

      "haven't seen the incident"

big respect and expected nothing more, still Luis should thank him, any other Manager could have stuck the boot right in there.

Anyways - NO retropsective punishments or bans can be handed out to Suarez as the referee saw it & took no action.

Not trying to be awkward but how can you be so sure he saw the incident?

To be honest, the way Luis looked all game I thought he would do something stupid but I didn't think he would bite someone. And to be honest i'm not sure he actually did bite.

Even if he didn't actually bite him, it looks obvious to me he was trying to.

What a STUPID thing to do.

For all making jokes about it, how will you feel next year when we are in a race for the title with the scum and Suarez does something like this with 3 games left and misses the remaining games which will be of utmost importance?

I don't know what the answer is because I love the player but this has got to stop.

The club needs to take action to protect its image, no one is bigger than the club.

Suspend Suarez for the rest of the season. Plus he does need a rest as he has played so many games.

Have to be careful, yes penalise him and visually show the media this is not acceptable but dont alienate him anymore than needed! We need him!

      100% agree.

I would even go as far as to sell him.

I'd be happy we're fighting for the title.

You can say that now, but if we lost it because we didn't have our best player for the last 3 or 4 games I doubt you'd be willing to say "Well at least we were fighting for it".

Where Luis comes from, biting is a sign of affectionate respect. ;)

It was a stupid, indefensible thing to do but I still love the guy and hope to God he is here sinking his teeth into Premier League defences next season.

No need to sell him, punishment yes but getting rid would be stupid.

As someone pointed out earlier the scum kept Cantona after a much worse incident.

Now is the time for some assertive calm heads from the Manager. Yes come out and say Suarez will be severely punished, but lets not make feed the witch hunt for his head! He done wrong and will be punished but that should be the end of it!

No matter what a Liverpool player did or does, I could never be so dismissive with a remark like 'Animal'. It shows a complete lack of understanding and genuine affection for the player and probably a club

Sell him perhaps, but to just come out, point the finger, along with the alleged evidence, and just brandish him as 'Animal', well, there's just something very very wrong about that.

"Tarnished the clubs name"? He hasnt tarnished the name of the club, YET. If we dont deal with it correctly we will look bad by association but no individual can tarnish such an amazing world stage club.

To be honest you could see him boiling over throughout the match, at times I thought he was going to burst into tears out of sheer frustration.

Maybe he could have been taken off, but then again he wouldn't have scored.

Not a great result, but given the time of the equaliser it almost feels like a win. And it's a point gained on Everton.

Luis Suarez showing everybody the literal meaning of biting at the chomp.
