      May 11, 2013 07:13:21 am
I'm sure some aware, likewise, I'm sure some are not, today marks the 28th anniversary of the Bradford City stadium fire, a tragedy which took the lives of 54 Bradford City fans and 2 Lincoln City fans.

      RIP.

I always feel both our clubs have a somewhat unspoken bond through our tragedies, one of understanding and respect. On 14th May 1999 when we played each other last game of the season seeing Bradford win to guarantee premier league survival both fans singing YNWA as a fitting tribute to both our lost loved ones and what has to be one of the most inspiring moments between two sets of football fans.

There was an excellent documentary on this by BT sports featuring Gabby Yorath or whatever her married name is now and her dad who played for Bradford at the time.
