      Apologies RP!

Shouldn't let myself be dragged into his bullshit.

Anyone let me know how Ibe played then as I missed the game.

Had a pretty nifty strut going on at times.
Thought he did well, got the assist.
Went wide and cut in when the option was there.
Seemed to have plenty of fight in him too and certainly
seems to have bulked up recently.

The punk rock equivalent of Sterling's pop.

Or as someone described him during a Youth game, he's Raheem on steroids  ;D

Jordon had a great game Si.

Took on players, tracked back, got into good positions, laid a beauty off for Coutinho's goal.  All in all he should be happy with his performance.

I read something during the week where he said an identical thing and I being honest it didn't make me confident for the summer window.

Downing and Henderson didn't cost us 4th place, the defence did! Sure you could sell them and buy Eriksen ( well actually you can't, as he is likely going to play in Germany), but there is NO guarantee he will be a success, look at Morientes for example!
I would keep Hendo, Downing can go.

The attack cost us 4th too, there were literally so many games where the defence were doing their job and the attacking players simply were unable to put the ball in the back of the net to get the upper hand.

Good game, great atmosphere and the best possible way to end Carra's career and our season on the whole.

Roll on August is all I can say cos I'm gonna be fu**ed without the footy, even with the Ashes to get me through the summer it's still gonna be hard waking up on the weekend without the mighty Reds to look forward to. You'd of thought I'd of got used to this feeling by now but nah it still crucifies me every year. Last day of the season is always a hard one to take, even when it ends as brilliantly as this one did.

But F**k it, I've got another six cans of John Smith's cooling off in the fridge, Extreme Rules tonight and a big arl smile on me face. So tonight should be good.

As for the match? Well I didn't see much of it, too many tears in me eyes for Carra. Words really can't express how much I love that fella. The things he's done for this club are unbelievable. He's gonna be such a big miss next year but as always this club will move on. And there's nobody who would want this club to go onto even greater success than Carra himself.

And now we end the footballing side for another season and re-open the crazy, unpredictable, load of bollocks world of summer transfers. We're buying x,y,z while a,b,c are being sold although if you read another paper we're buying m,n,o and selling t,u,v but if you believe another paper we're actually selling e,f,g while buying a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t,u,v,w,x,y and loaning z from club 173. Oh how I long for those stories...wake us up in August will you's when we open our Premiership campaign against Southampton at St Mary's. (oh but don't bother if there's another pointless international match a week either side of the opening day of the season because I'd probably just slit me wrists)

Thought the version of YNWA was the best ive heard in a long time. I was in the main stand and it sprung up from the kop at the beginning of the song and we all sang it slightly slower but it felt just on a personal level like a tribute to carra and who knows, maybe of better times ahead. Thought the atmosphere was great yesterday and we should have won the game by a four or five goals at least. Want to pay respect to the QPR fans and players who gave carra a great reception as he came on and as he left the field.  I can think of some clubs who wouldnt have done that. Respect also to them for coming all that way and seeing the sh*te they were offered up by their team.

A good result to finish the season though I would of liked a more substantial win.As always Coutinho impresses me and has to be the bargain of the season.if young Ibe can take his performance into next season and with Suarez back from suspension then opposing defences will be shitting themselves.I also think Henderson has improved  so much it must give Kenny Dalglish so much satisfaction. Finally well played to Carra you did yourself, the club and the Liverpool shirt proud, and thanks for being loyal to L.F.C.

Pepe did. But bit of comedy as Carra walked off with it still on.

Scary thought that Ibe was 13months old when Carra made his debut...

Would love it if in 2030 we are scratching our heads thinking 'Who was it that retired when Ibe made his debut ?' - as we celebrate Ibe bringing down the curtain on his glittering, multi league & European Cup winning career at Anfield...

Federer is notable by his absence, then again ripping Jamie Carragher to shreds is definitely not advised.
I suppose a modicom of appreciation wouldn't go amiss but if he is incapable of appreciating LFC there's nothing down for a legendry player of LFC.

      Good last game.
Should have had more goals but the win and the 3 points were good.

Everything about Carra has been said .

The best rendition of YNWA I've heard for years in the final few minutes!

Slowed down (as it should be) and was a great way to send Carra off.

I'll second that, it was truly heartfelt.

Don't know who the commentators were on my stream but they were silent all the way through it and said afterwards that they didn't want to interupt it.

      YNWA CARRA! @PolarBro

      Loved it.
Best I've heard it in a few years.

Also, love the nerves creeping in when QPR counter.

The team went for drinks in Cafe Sports last night. Carragher and Brad Jones were the last men standing. However, apparently Carra was smashed so hardly standing at all. Also, heard Gerrard left early on. Supposedly had an argument with someone. Take that with a pinch of salt.
