Admit it, a friend challenged you to type 'Toure' as many times as possible in one post without anybody picking up on it?

He is Kolo Toure and as such must refer to himself constantly in the third person.

I'd have to admit i'm not excited that we'd signed Kolo Toure. My guess is Toure is coming to improve the depth of our squad with Toure's experience. Hope Toure can download some of his impressive resume of being a proven winner of major honours to help guide our young players.

Anyway, Welcome To LFC, Kolo Toure. :kop5cf8koxp6:

      How this signing will affect our other defenders remains to be seen;

      Will Skrtel leave?
Will the young Uruguan defender leave too?

We have to wait and see.

Nothing wrong with Toure on a free. As long as his legs haven't completely gone, he should be a useful squad player.

I always thought it is the norm to write that way.

Welcome Kolo. The first ever Ivorian to represent the club. Let us all hope he does it well.

A great player at his peak and nowadays a good squad player I reckon.  He comes across as a bloke with a great deal of humility when Ive seen him being interviewed.  Signing older players is always a calculated risk.  One mans McAllister is anothers Pellegrini.  But I think Toure may be good to have around the training ground and dressing room. Time will tell on how effective he is on the pitch.

Someone on the transfer thread questioned his true age being closer to 36 not 32.

That may or not be the case  - but then again,  Shelvey looks closer to being  40 than he does 21

Ageing is down to shortening on the end of telometers, some people have shorter ends so age faster, diet.. etc  makes a difference. Simple biological entropy. People with 100+ moles tend to have larger telometers on statistical data.

First off, it's telomeres, not telometers.

Secondly, everything you posted is completely irrelevant (As is this post, I guess).

Sorry.  I'll keep it simple. This Toure being older.. I am sure there's nothing in it.

      Shrewd signing......

I think his experience could be invaluable and if he can re-capture the kind of form he produced at Arsenal, his leadership skills will be vital too.

I'm actually really looking forward to seeing Kolo in action next season! :)

:f_doh:We've seen the likes of Aspas, Luis Alberto and Mignolet at Melwood after having Medicaid, followed by the pictures and interviews being displayed on the website. Question; Why haven't we seen this with Kolo? Is it because he won't be available until the 1st July due to the end if his contract?

Its a comedy comment aimed at Kolo and his love of his wife's diet pills (and the fact he is replacing Carra)
