Very disappointed to have missed out on him but I'm glad he's going to a great team in Dortmund. Will definitely help them after losing Gotze and the future loss of Lewandowski. Will be immense under Jürgen Klopp.

He's rubbish. Always said so before we were linked and after he signed for Dortmund. Mind you when we were linked, in the period before he signed for Dortmund, I though he was Maradona.

And your right Coutinho is a genius. I was a big fan when he was with Rafa at Inter. I don't know why he fell off their radar. Maybe the old guard, who called the shots there, didn't like him being Rafa's choice.

I hope that we really do go balls out for the 2nd option, seeing as this didn't work out.

Possibly but if we made an attempt to sign him and he chose someone else then we did 'miss' out.

Hard to say but to me our interest seemed genuine enough.

 Apparently he's seriously injured his ankle in the last game.
