The whitewash is slipping away, save it for Australia in November  :)

Hahaha the general pisstaking of Nasser Hussain has been superb.

All the other commentators now calling him Montgomery Burns, even the production staff getting involved putting up the names of Shane Warne and Montgomery Burns instead of Nasser Hussain when they changed over from Michael Atherton and David Lloyd.

Managed to go to the Test Match Thursday, my mate is a member of Lancashire CC had a good day out, although pity the Aussies where batting first.

Can't fail to have a great day out at a test match, especially an Ashes one, can be a long day in the sun though  ;D

Just checked the score, hopefully watch the last hour. Crucial stage of the match, possibly the series.....

Yep - criticised him earlier on in the series but he definitely has the ability for an answer when no one else has. Good on him!

You are correct there mate, 14 hour day, travelling by train from Rhyl to Manchester, then we caught a bus to the ground, tram back to the centre of the city, had a well deserved pint and something to eat before boarding the train back to Rhyl arriving home just before 10, a fairly long day all in all. Pity I had to be in work for 8 the next day, still lucky enough to see an Ashes Test.

Looks like the momentum is swinging back in our favour.  Can't see the Aussies getting enough runs to declare and their bowling attack isn't good enough to dismiss us.

It's right though for the umpires to have the sole decision, I've seen too many matches where players have gone off for little or no reason, when they're playing for the draw.  Spoils the game.

Play abandoned for the day.  That's the draw we needed though pity it couldn't have been decided by playing it out.

Tomorrows going to be a bit of a bore fest now.

Few better things in life than hearing Test Match special with Aggers, Boycott and Blowers and many more.
Love it especially when they have special guests in during the breaks....fantastic listening.

Also love the Australian perspective of Glen McGrath....so knowledgable, passionate but also respectful of the history and culture.
