Nice win again lads, even though that last wicket really didn't want to go  ;D

      Good bowling figures for Broad.

      Magic from Broad.

Not many like him when he's on top form.

So runs from Bell, Pietersen and some of the lower order certainly seem to have masked a bit of insecurity up at the top. Cook and Trott haven't scored that well all series, Trott in particular. I'm sure he and Cook, as well as Root (who seems inconsistent opening) are all looking for bigger scores and more time at the crease in the last test.

Well done Broad, great spell of bowling. Once he gets going he really rips them in.

Oh Ian what's gone wrong with that Australian cricket machine,it seems as though it was only 3 or 4 years ago they could of put 2 teams out that would of been a match for any side in the world.

What a day, 109 for 0 and i was slaughtering Cook again and was asking for him to let the Honey Monster bowl instead of Anderson, what an evening, my nerves were shredded again and I totally was losing the plot big style even when Swann dropped the catch and they messed up the run out.phew!

Agreed Billy, don't know what's gone wrong mate. They thought Warnie, McGrath, Gilchrest and Steve Waugh would play forever!

Fantastic news that the selectors have called up Simon Kerrigan for the final Test. Chris Woakes also in the 14 man squad.

Really hope Keggsy gets a chance.

Excellent day for Australia. Really disappointed England didn't opt for Tremlett though. Incredibly difficult day for Kerrigan and Woakes but it will stand them in good stead but its good to get them in at the deep end. If you're going to take a chance on them take a chance against Australia when you are 3-0 up in the series.

Woakes is simply not good enough to play for england at any level, the hand of Giles is on the tiller again, not content with tapping up Compton and Buttler to sign for Warwickshire, a clear conflict of interest, he should resign or be sacked.

oops Compton has signed a new contract at Somerset, still say the same though that Giles has to go.

I'm loving this end to the fifth test.

11 runs in the last over. Now 36 required from the last 6 overs.

Fantastic Test series, shame about the ending of the final Test though. 4 poxy overs, they should of been bowled but rules are rules I suppose.

Onto the one dayers and we've "rested" Cook, Bell, Anderson, Swann and Broad for them. Few lesser known names in the squad which should make for an interesting limited over series as well.
