Looked like it was beneath him.....which in fairness it usually was ⚽️

       ;D

He's a decent keeper, no more no less, but has proven with us that he's not up to the standard required.

I just don't get the reasoning for persisting with starting him.

No I don’t either. Wasn’t good enough in 2013 and hasn’t improved technically at all to me.

If it was me I'd bin him mate.

His value isn't going to drop anything meaningful if he sits on our bench until the summer.

Like I said I just do not get Jürgen continuing to pick him.

What's the point in him playing these games?

Didn't think he was at fault for the goals but why was he even playing to start with.

Didn't think he was at fault for the goals but why was he even playing to start with.

Klopp mentioned in his press conference that he likes to keep his goalkeepers fit in case something happens to either one of them. That way they have some kind of match rhythm rather than having to come in for games after sitting on the bench for months not getting any minutes.

Karius is the #1 goalkeeper for the league and played league games.
Mignolet was now given this cup game. I'm not entirely sure how he's going to do it for the remainder of the season seeing as we've only got the league and CL left now. Can't imagine him playing Karius for all of them, so there's going to come a point at which we'll see Mignolet in goal again in a league game I think.

He also mentioned Ward getting gametime with the U23's.

Just not good enough for LFC. He lacks something that can't be coached, and that's braveness. He just looks like he doesn't want to get hurt when he should be smashing through players to get the ball. It's long been said that goalkeepers need to be a bit eccentric, such as Grobelaar in his heyday. Migs isnt, and judging by his 5 years here, never will be.

The disallowed goal where Dawson beats him to score I think just sums up his ability. Dawson actually won the ball so clean I still cannot fathom what he was doing. Should never play a competitive game again for us barring injuries.

For all people say about his professionalism, about how he loves the club and the fans, every time he loses his number 1 spot he leaks out to the press about his feeling and him considering his future.
Honestly Mig, if you truly care about this club the best thing you can do right now is to pack up and leave.

      Why should he?

If he gets picked then he's hardly going to turn round and say " sorry boss I'll sit this one out as I don't think I'm good enough"

Danny Ward will annoyed, but also greatful to be getting game time with the U23's. I do feel though he should have been loaned out or be our cup keeper even though we aren't in the English cups now.

That goal he let in that was disallowed, when he went to punch it and ended up punching it into his own goal...

Hands down the most pathetic things I've ever seen on a football pitch.

To think this c**t gets more money in a week that most people earn in a year is sickening. Just F**k off.

Yep, grim. To be blunt - looked to me like he thought about the dunt coming and just thought “F**k it, not worth it”

You never saw him try to punt a ball down field only for him to mis-kick the ball and for it to go out for a corner!!

I didn't, however the fact that it doesn't shock me is alarming.
