Took some stick from fans. Watched on at Karius. Seen us splash near 70 million on a keeper yet everytime I see him on camera at a game hes applauding or smiling at the teams good fortune.

Not a bad word from him in the last few months. Credit for that

I'd be happy too collecting 70k a week for a front row seat at our games.  Sign me up 😋

"The goalkeeper position is a different one but Simon, I could write a book about all the good things I could say about him."

      Jürgen apparently said this recently.
Expecting to see him against Wolves.
Would think he'll have some saves to make too.

He will be needed big time if the rumoured back 4 ahead of him is true. He's a good number 2 is Simon.

I'm not sure. Most number 2 keepers in PL will be around championship level, but they are usually much younger and learning from the main keeper. Mignolet is here because a mistake to give him a 5 year contract.

of course he'd say that. Klopp will boast him up, if Mignolet has a good game there could be bids for him in January. 15m for Mignolet then have Grabara as a number 2.

Both goals he should do better. (But probably not capable of it)

I've said he's a good number 2 but he wasn't tonight. Think he's gone at the end of the season.

I still think he's a good number 2 but agree he'll be gone by the summer.

Mignolet isn't a good number two, but that is just my opinion.
Personally I think any random person on the street can perform to Mignolet's standard.

I defend him to a point but be got nowhere near the second goal and that wasnt in the corner from 30 yards out. Flat footed and weight going to his left. The first goal technically was a horror show with body shape, head position and positioning in his goal.

Be glad to see the return of Alisson.

      I agree 100% mate but he's still a good number 2.

Having said that we've no real need for him now most likely as Allison will play every game for the rest of the season.

Had no chance with the first, unsighted for the second.

Bye Simon, I won't miss you. Worst starting keeper I've ever seen, conceded 1 in every 2 shots taken against him in his LFC career. F***ing useless, piss off.

Not really and let’s be honest that was a very good shot and not many keepers would have saved that.

Was as poor tonight in decision making as always , puts the defense under so much pressure holding on too long then giving it straight to a defender with players bearing down , mediocre gk at best , don’t want to see him play for us again simply not good enough ,

He is there as back up - unless you go with an untested kid then you don’t see many clubs having top keepers sat on the bench

In the stadium he seemed really slow in getting down for the second goal. It came from 30 yards away.

Will need to watch a replay.

      Agreed.

Like it or not - he’s absolutely a premier league goalie.

I think there’s an argument for saying our top two are as strong as anything in the Prem as a pair.

The problem is Migs was never good enough for Liverpool and the drop from him to Alisson is a chasm.

It also must be hard for a GK to go straight into the team and be match sharp - as they said on the radio then if Ming had been playing for a couple of weeks then he prob would have got a hand on it

Doubt it, he was playing week in week out for 3 years+ and was still utter sh*t, still too scared to move off his line.
