      The non-Liverpool Transfer/Gossip Thread: Summer Window 2013

      Idea from Billo http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php/topic,44143.msg1481349.html#msg1481349

And a good one at that.

January 2013 thread is here. http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php/topic,44158.0.html

Carlos Tevez: Manchester City & Juventus agree £12m deal
Manchester City and Juventus have agreed a deal for striker Carlos Tevez to join the Italian side in a transfer worth up to £12m.

City accepted an offer of £10m that could rise by £2m with add-ons.

The Argentina international, 29, is expected in Italy on Wednesday for a medical and to discuss personal terms over a proposed three-year contract.

When the fee is combined with wages and bonuses due to Tevez in the final year of his contract, City could save £27m.
      http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23056298

£12m is a steal, but is it? I guess the wages are the killer.

Would have loved him here, but the wages are the stupid thing.

I agree it's a great idea.  About Tevez, I would not give into his wage demands. At 29 he has probably already peaked anyway.

I've always admired the player Tevez and wanted him to come, but since the episode he did to city, I have lost all respect for him.  I wouldn't want him here.

Tevez fee agreed according to bbc

I saw Manchester United were after Cavani for 50m and willing to sell Rooney for 25m.

Llorente & Tevez for 12m is a nice deal, not including wages.

anybody got any concrete number on tevez's wages at juve? pretty low bid accepted by city, my bet is that they are going to sign a high profile striker this summer. they have already said that they won't pay 50mil for cavani.

are they gonna wave money in front of fsg for suarez? just reading between lines here.

i disagree. They could pay 50 mil for someone this summer. it all depends on which player they rate. There arent many world class strikers that are available atm.

Tell that to Monaco, a team that has virtually no legit income.

They'll regret that in a few years when they don't get a UEFA licence.  4 teams in LaLiga have been denied already.

spuds are set to sign paulinho for 17m according to BBC. weren't inter after him and the sole reason for them selling cou was to make place and raise money for paulinho in Jan transfer windows. at least their fan were pretty sure of that.

Monaco will start next season on minus 2 points due to crowd trouble.

I think Llorente will score a bucket load in Italy, Italian defenders are not used to dealing with physical  bullies like him.

Pretty much, already the best team in Italy and are strengthening. Napoli are gonna get weaker without Cavani (I'm assuming).

Also, Tevez, Llorente, Pirlo & Pogba all for £12m. That's some good business there.
