Villa looks to be stealing Mourinho's tactics...how poetic would it be if that lead to a win over City and allowed us to take the title.

Started watching with the best intentions of watching at least the first half, seen that Villa are going to defend for 90+ minutes so I've withdrawn my eyesight, can't be watching that, it'll do me in.

Guzan has the knack for playing big in "big" games. Hopefully he considers this a "big" game.

City under pressure to get a win could keep us in the conversation.

What's the alternative? Play all out attack and lose 5-0?

The longer it's 0-0, the greater the chance Villa will nick a winner.

The more I watch City play the more I despise how they've assembled their team. Must be hard to just throw hundreds of millions to buying the best players from all over the world. Real tough managerial job that is getting them to play together.

I thought there were rules about so called "homegrown" players?

The chances of Villa scoring in this match seem virtually nil. They've had a couple of opportunities for counters but they've been totally insipid by their lack of pace and certainty.

City fans are ignorant....whistling everytime Villa has a free kick and takes longer than 5 seconds to take it. Did they watch our game against Chelsea? Do they realize what time wasting looks like?

They look completely toothless. Best we can hope for is a City own goal I think.

A draw obligates city to win their last game. If they win they can afford a draw against the hammers

Empty seats in the Eithad (a common feature in recent weeks) is appalling for such an important match. A bit of rain is no excuse for the amount of empties on show tonight. This is Britain for god's sake!

So what's the point of villa? The question keeps coming at them then.

Come on villa... Show the world that you were once the champion of Europe

      Quote from Frankly, Mr Shankly
The chances of Villa scoring in this match seem virtually nil.

...and the chances of us losing a 3-0 lead the other night were less than virtually nil.

They're doing alright atm. The longer it stays like that, the more nervous City will get. It's the run-in. Mistakes count double.

I don't know what's worse, that Villa show no sense of urgency or care or that City are trying as hard as they can and still can't break them down.

      Pathetic.
