Mignolet could learn something from Guzan about coming out to control his area.

Anyone fancy bringing in Guzan for competition?

...and the chances of us losing a 3-0 lead the other night were less than virtually nil.

They're doing alright atm. The longer it stays like that, the more nervous City will get. It's the run-in. Mistakes count double.

Shut up with the destruction of my reverse psychology will ya!

      Watching full of false hope.

Every time City go forward my heart is pounding in desperation - expecting a goal.

Every time Villa go forward my heart is pounding with the slightest hope that SOMEHOW they might just score.

      This is horrible....

Absolutely. We've been crying out for a keeper to come in and challenge the number 1 spot for years now. That's why Reina suffered and I fear that is what Mignolet. It's important that keepers learn and bounce off each other. No disrespect to Jones but neither Reina or Mignolet will have looked at him as competition or indeed learn anything from him. It's imperative that we get a quality second keeper in who could easily supplant themselves as number 1.

One thing Villa have done well is challenge without giving away free kicks around the box. They've been pretty discliplined, although I can't see them holding out like this for 90 minutes.

      Half time.

Can they do it for one more? Really would rather a win, but a draw brings that last game into question....two draws and we can take it.

Remember that City are very much a second-half side.

They will commit more and more men forward which means they'll be more susceptible to the counter. Which Villa play very well.

      Hope.

      All good so far.

Survive the early second half onslaught, and then start to have a go at the bullseye.

Fucin' hate those non-existent "as it stands" tables.  The table takes effect after the game is played, not a minute before.
