I've a feeling Villa might be dark horses this season.

I don't see them struggling like they did last season - got to be a top 10 finish for them.  I thought they did well to stick by Paul Lambert and in these days where managers are sacked too easily in a way they probably deserve the rewards of loyalty.  (A strange thing to say about Aston Villa who have had more managers than most).

I had forgot Villa had a midweek game.  Hopefully it will be a tough game.  We should have no excuses facing them next week with our midweek off.

Spurs win 1-0. Crystal Palace gave a good account of themselves though. Soldado linked up well with the others around him. Can see him getting a number of assists in addition to goals this season.

Dissapointed spurs got 3 points with 2 shots on target.  It took us 25 shots and we still had to save a penalty to win.

Chelsea could have been 5 or 6 up after 20 minutes against Hull, looked like world beaters. Then shut up shop completely and bored the life out of me, welcome back Jose.
