Glastonbury. They were good days with all the lads & lasses.

I barely ever remember anything from those sessions - pretty sure though the Chemical Brothers were sh*t hot!  :P

Although, I do always remember never paying to get in, half the fun was bunking in!

Was easy banking in years ago but now it's like Fort Knox, security is ruthless.

Have you seen Future Islands live mate?
Yeah... at Glastonbury that same year - Sun splitting the trees; Herring in full flow - a fine live act and perfect festival fodder.

Excellent Si... at least what was shown was. Like I say... The Park would have been my venue for today/tonight [even with Elbow 😄].

Elbow have a few good songs but always seem very generic and boring at Glastonbury for me.

First Aid Kit were good on RB and Ride were great although only caught the last two songs.

Just seen the headliners for today. I would be very, very torn. Ultimately it would have to be the Foo Fighters however Alt J are spectacular and the Hopkins DJ set would be awesome too. Special shout out to Beans on Toast who's playing, great guy who I met at the Secret Garden Party a few years back, talented acoustic musician and funny dude.

      Mesmerising set from Radiohead.
      Boring as F**k however. 😩

Proved that they're top musicians who are at the top of their game with a note perfect, professional set; they even did 'Creep' FFS but... if that's all you want - buy a F***ing CD and stay at home. 😄

See here's the rub: as a live act they suck ass big time. They're self indulgent and introverted and do not engage. Boring. 😩

I had a mate, in an attempt to deny the 'Emperor's New Clothes Syndrome' (that Radiohead fans suffer from), describe Yorke as "enigmatic". Yeah he's all that and more but the truth is; for the best live acts...

You don't need "enigmatic" you need "charismatic" - remember this and you'll never be confused. 😉

Watch Grohl tonight. Watch him with the same crowd. Watch the charisma. Watch the difference between a great LIVE band and one that isn't. From Jagger to Bono and Springsteen to Grohl... all the best LIVE acts have it.

Radiohead - great musicians:  sh*te live. Facht. 😁

I wasn't bored at all mate.

Takes all sorts I suppose. ;D

Really looking forward to The National followed by Foos tonight when I get home from work.

Ah... but that was because you loved 'listening' to Greenwood's guitar Si... me, I prefer 'watching' Ronnie Wood's guitar. 😉

I guess some of its down to taste but I like to believe that I can be objective enough to set aside musical preference. I've seen hundreds of great live bands - Radiohead ain't one of them. 😕

Try this explanation to see if it helps - I've seen Radiohead two (maybe three) times live. I saw a good band live - I did not see a good live band. 😁

Caught a bit of Glastonbury yesterday evening. The pretenders were surprisingly good, Royal Blood were brilliant, it'd love to see them live. Kris Kristofferson was mind numbingly boring zzzz
