Got mates well into them but not my kind of thing but that guitarist is something

Yeah, Josh McClorey who's only 17 (the average age of the band is something ridiculous like 16) a demon guitarist. Dr Feelgood for the 21st century?

Checking them out on youtube, really liking all I've seen so far. Great performance that:

Watching Arctic Monkeys whole performance on youtube and I'm very impressed with Alex Turner's evolution as a front man. I mean, I always loved them and would watch them as many times as I could but he was never really the most lively of front men. When I saw them years ago here in Rio he was too quiet, hardly talked to the crowd, and the band seemed too professional, almost uninterested. However, he's looking much more mature in that aspect now; more confident, even better than usual.

      Agree mate.

He really looked like he was enjoying himself too which wasn't always the case with Alex.

Thought I'd just bump this instead of starting a new thread.

I always enjoy the coverage on the BBC and I'm looking forward to Florence tonight. Seen her and her band live before in Belfast supporting Stone Roses and she really is a presence on stage.

One thing I'm not looking forward to is listening to the new breed of BBC presenters who seem to think absolutely everything is 'great', 'fantastic' and 'awesome'. I'm not sure they get that not everything is 'amazing'.

Paloma Faith was awesome, never disappoints.
Have to agree with Si, Kanya West leaves me cold. Cannot get into any aspect of the performance, what little I saw that is.
Not many acts at Glastonbury induce annoyance, even if the actual music doesn't appeal the presentation and character of the performer keep you tuned in; not so with him.

Chemical Brothers look to be the highlight of this years festival for me.

The Who will have to wait until this is done on BBC 3.

The Strypes - You'll be hearing a lot about these kids soon. A mix of old school blues and Rockabilly (to my ear). Maybe a bit 'flavour of the month' but enjoyable nonetheless.

A couple of years ago I stumbled upstairs in a pub in Galway, during a stag,
and these kids were playing as part of a Galway Music Weekend.

Then they played Slane with Foo Fighters.

      Great young band.

      Awesome set.

Working my way through some sets now.
      Kanye was an utter mess.
Disappointed with the Flo set. Thought she realised she was warbling a lot and it threw her off her stride.

Listening to Ben Howard now. Great set so far, especially for a guy with a chest infection.
Not 100% on who's playing so open to suggestions on where to go next.

      My mate was at it.
I said he'd be at Spiritualized. We'd seen them in Galway a long time ago.
He was. I watched that set last night. Great as always.

As we mentioned on Twitter I thought Flo was good.

Agree on Ben Howard and Jamie T was great this evening.

Like I said above you should have BBC 3 on now for Chemical Brothers.

      Highlight of the weekend.

Anyone who went to Glastonbury and watched The Who instead of The Chemical Brothers are crazy.

Best I've seen in ages going by the TV coverage.

Galvanise followed by Block Rocking Beats and the crowd going mad.

Ben Howard was great as well mate.

On Kanye I thought his stage set up was good with just him and those lights. Just couldn't get into it and never really been a fan but a few great songs didn't add up to a great set for me.

I've just put it on as I recorded it Cas.

Have to admit it seems a little subdued after watching Chemical Brothers storming set on BBC 3.
