Dont know if this info is reliable or not, doesnt seem to be.Dont know much about this youngster, have read in other place that it would not be cheap,I dont think its a good idea to spend much in a prospect when we are letting others go on loan.

Bernard, 21, a large Brazilian gem. This player is as good as Neymar.

I am Brazilian and I know what I'm saying. Bernard is only 21 years old and is the most important figure of Atletico Mineiro, along with Ronaldinho. Atletico Mineiro will make the final of the Libertadores against Olimpia of Paraguay. Bernard does not play the first game, because he received his third yellow card, but it will play the second game in Brazil. Bernard was part of Team champion Confederations Cup.

I saw him once in the confederations cup.  Looked good and dangerous on the wing.  Problem was he came on as a sub and didnt really get to see much of him.   From whatbi saw, I think he would help us a lot.  I would take the risk of 15m for him.  If he doesnt pan out we could morebthan likely make a profit off him if we ship him to spain, italy, russia.

Doesn't make sense. Doubt we could make a profit on him if he doesn't pan out for us.

You'd like us to sign a player you seen play once and not even for a full game.

      Strange.

Not really, but I think this new Brazilian guy is probably an Atletico Mineiro fan, that's why he's saying that about Bernard.
I've said in another thread I think Bernard is a quality little player and one we should consider, but Neymar is on a completely different level...

Yeah I would with the quality he shown.  I also take into account that even though I saw him for not long, there is a reason he was in the brazil squad.

I would be more inclined to play Coutinho on the number 10 role and keep Bernard on the left... Bernard is more reliant on pace, while Coutinho has a better eye for a pass... anyway, with that lineup we sure as hell would have an incredibly mobile front line!

I'd prefer it if we made full use of our bench ;) .

Diego, I have only seen Bernard in the Confederations Cup appearances, so I know nothing about him; from watching some of those compilations videos, though, while he is clearly very technically gifted, one thing I also noticed was that he can really put in a sharp, powerful cross from the wings.  He can obviously dance around people like Coutinho and Suarez can but it also looks like he can swing it into the box if someone is rushing in for a header.  Allegedly Downing can do that, but we rarely saw it even under Kenny.  If he were playing on the wing, it would be really exciting, because defenders would be afraid to get too close to him for fear he would blow by them, but can't stay too far because of the possibility he could put in a pinpoint cross.
