The turn me a little bit of that Bergkamp goal against Newcastle all those years ago.

Thought the same, now Im not going to say he is the second coming or indeed in his league (yet, we can always hope!) but he looks good. And the setup for the 3rd showed great awarness...

Great run up the pitch by Phillipe

Poor Joe Allen...doesn't even get credit when he makes a great run.

Enrique is a tank out there, I have to say I love watching him play down the flank.

Anyone think Toure may be a very underrated pickup for us this year?

Don't think many doubted his talent, it's his level of commitment and levels of fitness he can maintain, he's always been a quality player.

I'll save judgement until we come against better opposition, Preston, Melbourne Victory and Thailand don't exactly carry enough threat to put him under pressure.

Luis has done more running in two minutes than he did in eighteen in Oz.

Same could be said of all of our players....I guess I will refrain from commenting on how good any of them play :(

It's a bit easier to judge the attackers as they're actually having to create and having to score but when you're not having to defend it's hard to judge a defender.

      Are you watching Gollum?
This is a pre-season world tour to promote the club's name and capabilities which is best done by way of a 100% record.
Bent or partially sighted officials in tandem with the FA are noticeably absent.
