Derby could have played until next week and still would not have scored it was one of those days.

I watched from about the 20th minute on and gotta agree here. They had a penalty shout in this first half when Hughes was taken down, but I can't remember Derby really testing Rob Green too much. Heart-breaking to lose to 10-men at the death like that, but that's football sometimes.

Stephen Darby has signed a new contract with Bradford City and has been confirmed as the club captain for next season. Made up for him! Glad to see he's still enjoying a career in football since leaving Liverpool.

Bit of a blast from the past.

I've altered the title to encompass all seasons.

So with 6 games to go, Blackpool have been relegated!

The final 10 minutes of the brentford game were mental! I'm really hoping both Bournemouth and Brentford will go up

Just watched the Wolves v Leeds game and I quite like the look of Nouha Dicko.

I reckon Brendan could do a lot for his game as he's got the basics he looks for in his attackers.  Strong, pacey, plays the channels or up front and score goals.  24 in 53 games isn't bad for a 22yr old in the Championship.

Hmmm just heard Malky's been sacked from Wigan, wonder if we'll try to get Ojo and Sinclair back?

I've watched a fair bit of Middlesborough this season and it's nice to see one of our old boys doing so well.  I'm not saying he'd be good enough for us but Danny Ayala has carved himself a very good career there and it's possible he'll be playing in the PL next season.

There's another former LFC youngster who is fighting for promotion to the EPL, that is Zak Whitbread with Derby County. He's now 31, which made me feel pretty old :D

Is it sacrilege to say the Championship has been the best or most entertaining league this season? It's ridiculously tight this season.

So its Bournemouth and Watford then will be one of the better play offs this year.

Now I know why Di Canio was so pissed off at the Swindon board for selling Ritchie behind his back :D

Derby gone down 1-0 at home to Reading early on.

Brentford and Wolves are chasing them and they're both home to teams that are relegated already.

Jesus Christ, Derby! So close every year. For a while they were top of the table, somehow managed to finish 8th. Unbelievable.

I do wonder why we don't dwell into the Championship or div 1 more often. I'm sure there are a lot of gems there. You just need to look at Southampton as an example, how many of them started from league one?

I don't particular watch Championship or lower unless we have a good player out on loan, but I'm sure there are some fantastic under 24 year old players that could take the leap and become established prem players. I wonder why we don't take a risk :(
