I see what your doing here and I like it.. Swap the players around. Sturridge in goal Mignolet up front. Our back 3 will be brilliant at joinging in the attacks and the front 4 quality at getting back to help defend while Gerrard and Lucas play there usual roles. Could be the way to go 

I hope our manager and 14 players who get on the pitch get 100% of the crowds backing and no song or chant for a certain someone instead of those fighting for the shirt on the field

I fancy us to get a solid win here 2-0 perhaps. It's essential we get some early momentum this season.

So we start off the 2013/14 season with a home league game against Stoke City at Anfield, they held us to a boring 0-0 draw last season as they parked the bus and frustrated the hell out of us.
Let's hope we've learned how to deal with teams like this and can creative something a bit magical and get off to a great start by taking 3 very important points, so important to start well as we all know what happens when you have to start playing catch-up. A win and we're top of the league, all be it briefly 

Be interesting to see Brendan's line up on Saturday, after a very hectic pre-season finishing today with a behind closed doors win against Newcastle at Melwood - Daniel Sturridge played the full 90 mins and scored 2 goals coming out unscathed, so I'm sure he'll be in the team, Aspas too has impressed me along with Jordan Ibe.

New season, lots to be excited about as each new season always is, just get the Suarez situation sorted out and I feel we can move forward and make some giant steps in 2013/14.



Putting a lot of faith in these two men this season.

I'm not fully excited yet (mainly due to the transfer stuff) but at the same time, I CAN'T F***ing WAIT!!!!

Hopefully it's a Mark Hughes team, and not the Stoke of norm. Break them down early and we will win it. They won't be coming back from a goal, away from home without exposing themselves.

I'd nearly start Aspas. The movement could hurt them, Sturridge to run at them when they're tired, physically & mentally.

I think our fornt line now has much more about it than the attacking force we had at the start of the season last year. i also think we are better in defence. Midfield is more or less the same but lets hope Lucas is back to his best and Allen can regain some form.

Looks like ill be on the ale as soon as I wake up

Thank god Tony Pulis has been banished from the Premier League.

It would be weird to win our first home game comfortably.But a good  thrashing of Stoke sitting on top of the league wouldn't for a while wouldn't go a miss,

This lot are a shower of hammer throwers; bully boys who've lost the lead bully. Mark Hughes couldn't manage a riding session in a whore house and there's no way he'll be able to set them up to deal with our very mobile, very intelligent front three and midfield.

I reckon we'll tank the fuckers.

Always feel positive at the start of each season, everyone starts off on an equal footing ( well almost) 

But seriously, I really do have much optimism for the 2013/14 season foolishly maybe, but I can feel we'll have a lot more to shout about this season.
